What ReelRoam collects, what it doesn't, and how Google Analytics and affiliate links work. Plain language, last reviewed 9 October 2026.

This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit ReelRoam. It was last reviewed on 9 October 2026. We keep data collection minimal by design, and we name the tools we do use.

What we collect

ReelRoam is a static site and does not ask you to create an account. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to reply. The only measurement on the site is Google Analytics, covered in the next section.

Google Analytics

We run Google Analytics 4 — a Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. service — to see which streaming guides people actually read. It collects the pages you view, the site that sent you here, a rough location (city or country), your device and browser type, and session timing. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, so the data isn't used for advertising, and we don't sell it.

Its cookies only appear once analytics is allowed: GA4's first-party _ga and _ga_<ID>, each lasting up to 2 years. Readers in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland get a banner first, and nothing reaches Google unless they click Accept. For everyone else analytics runs by default, and you can turn it off at any time. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out. We store your choice in your browser's local storage (key: analytics-consent) rather than in a cookie.

When you click a link to a VPN provider, that provider (or its affiliate network) may set a cookie to attribute a later purchase to us. That process is run by them under their own privacy policies, not by us, and it is how the site is funded. See our affiliate disclosure for more.

Your choices
